Team Spotlight: Nichole Bryant
March 20, 2021
Since joining EFG in 2019, Project Designer Nichole Bryant said she has grown not only professionally, but personally.
"EFG was my firm of choice because it conveys the desired company cultures and values I look for in an organization, as well as a family-oriented background," Bryant said. "I saw the personal career growth opportunities within the company that I was searching for in a firm."
One of those involved a boost to her credentials.
"I recently received my NCIDQ certification and can now say I am officially an interior designer," said Bryant, an Oklahoma State University graduate who served two other firms before coming to EFG.
"While working at Cannon Design in Texas, I had the privilege of designing in the healthcare and higher education sectors, primarily pediatric healthcare," she said. "I loved healthcare design, and still do, because of the factual, evidence-based design that drives the architecture and design decisions for each facility, concentrating on the recovery process of the patients' and the happiness of the staff.
"One of my goals for this year is to concentrate on expanding the healthcare design and architecture portfolio at EFG. As everyone is aware, the recent turmoil in healthcare has created many obstacles for not only for its workers but architecture and construction as well. These obstacles have created some great opportunities in healthcare design and architecture for growth, efficiency, and reimagining our built environment. How could we not want to be a part of this change and making the world a better place?"
EFG also has given Bryant the opportunity to expand her portfolio with various hospitality design projects, including the Amp Bar and the Hard Rock Hotel Tower Renovation.
"I am thankful for the constant opportunities EFG offers and the encouragement from our principals," she said. "Each and every day, I come to work looking forward to learning something new and developing my career further."
